PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Manage the outstanding balance, execute financial administration and inform the management of (potential) debtor problems with the purpose to minimize the duration and the height of outstanding balance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Debtor management

Manage the outstanding balance of debtors with the purpose to minimize the duration and the height of the outstanding amount.

Core activities:

He/she authorizes or denies orders based on the debtors outstanding balance. He/she contacts debtors to ensure payments of outstanding invoices.

He/she manages Credit insurance and if necessary collects financial information from clients.

2. Financial administration

Execute the financial administration that results from outstanding balance with the purpose to ensure an up to date administration that supports internal departments and clients in solving problems that occur due to outstanding balance.

Core activities:

He/she executes financial administration.

He/she provides financial information for internal departments and/or clients when needed. E.g. copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes.

He/she manages bank reconciliations.

He/she books checks.

3. Management information

Ensure that the management is well informed about debtors, outstanding amounts

and potential risks with the purpose to enable the management to minimize outstanding balance.

Core activities:

He/she ensures timely financial reporting.

He/she creates a weekly file of direct debits.

He/she reports to the management about outstanding balance and informs them of potential debtor problems.

Service level to internal departments and clients.
